Dracut Police Looking For Truck That Hit Pedestrian

Dracut Police are investigating a hit and run incident that took place Tuesday evening and involved a pedestrian.

According to a report published by the Lowell Sun, the accident took place on Bridge Street, around 6:15 p.m.

According to Dracut Police, a woman told officers she was walking near the Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union when she was "clipped" by a passing truck. The vehicle continued on without stopping.

The woman was shaken up but did not sustain serious injuries. She was able to walk to a nearby coffee shop to call police.

Dracut Police are looking for a large black truck, featuring orange lights on the top and chrome mirrors, according to the Sun report.

The vehicle involved in the Dracut incident was described as a large black truck with chrome mirrors and orange lights on the roof, Chartrand said.
