Lowell, MA - Florence B. (Masson) Allard, 97, formerly of Dracut, died peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2016. 

She was born in Lowell, MA on November 23, 1919, a daughter of the late Abraham and Aurora (Soucy) Masson. Florence was an avid bingo player who loved playing cards, along with almost any game you could teach, and always loved a good party. She had a great smile and laughed easily. She loved country music and frequented the Lone Star Ranch on many Sunday afternoons. Florence would sing all the while she did her daily house cleaning, and she could yodel with the best of them.

Florence is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Dorothy (Allard) Matthews of Hudson, NH; sons, Norman Allard and his wife Leona of Dracut, and Frank Allard and his wife Gayle of Lowell; daughter-in-law, Nancy (Lord) Allard; grandsons, Bryant, Roger, John, Jason, Ron, Jeff, and Clarence Allard; granddaughters, Sheryl Matthews, Julie Allard, Laurie Ferchak, Bridgette Lemontange, Jill MacGregor, Heather Allard, and Sage Matthews; 25 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Pike and Juliette Moore, both of Dracut; sisters-in-law, Anna Masson and Barbara Trudel, both of Dracut; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her special friends, Terry Letellier of Tewksbury, MA and Liz Schiripo of Hudson, NH.

She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Clarence Allard; her sons, Roger, Ronald, Richard, Robert, and Albert; her sisters, Irene Lacourse, Aurore Proulx, Theresa Vivier, and Laurette Gavlik; brothers, Leo and Roger Masson; sisters-in-law, Lillian Deschenes, Doris Pleasance, and Laurette St. Marie; as well as brothers-in-law, Raymond, Roland, Willis, and Edward Allard.

ARRANGEMENTS: In accordance with Florence's wishes, there are no services and the scattering of her ashes will be held privately. All services are under the direction of the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave, Dracut.
