Olive E. (Newcomb) Rousseau

DRACUT, MA- Olive E. (Newcomb) Rousseau, 81, died peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Raymond Rousseau with whom she spent 61 loving years of marriage. 

Born in Dracut on September 21, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Grace (Paradis) Newcomb. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a crossing guard for many years. 

Olive enjoyed reading and completing word searches in her spare time. She was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived and will be deeply missed by her two children Betty Magown and her husband Peter of Dracut, and Kenneth Rousseau and his wife Susan of Dracut; two granddaughters, Stephanie Rousseau of Dracut, and Ashley Wahlgren and her husband Christopher of Pelham, NH; and a great grandson, Gavin Jace Wahlgren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
