Evelyn F. (Craig) Harden Obituary
Born in Medford on January 23, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Walter T. and Barbara A. (Norton) Craig. She moved from Medford to Chelmsford then to Westford before settling in Dracut in 1986. Evelyn was a graduate of Medford High School, with the class of 1954. Prior to her retirement, she spent many years working in the Billing Department at both Wang Laboratories and Whistler Corp.
Evelyn devoted her time to numerous organizations, including the American Association of Retired Persons, and the Disabled American Veterans, where she was a “Bronze Leader” member of the Commander Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting/crocheting, making puzzles, playing the piano, reading books, baking, summer vacations with Steve, watching NASCAR, Dancing with the Stars and game shows, among many others as well as spending time with her family.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by Steve Kosciolek "husband", her children, Donna D’Amelio of Nashua NH, Greg Harden of Litchfield NH, Janice and Bob Correale of Tyngsboro MA, Barbara and Ed O’Toole of Charlestown NH, Sandy and David Gaulin of Tyngsboro MA and Cheryl and Ken Freitas of Tyngsboro MA, 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren (all of which includes two generations of twins with a 3rd generation on the way), two brothers, Walter T. Craig of Medford, and Richard Craig and his wife Joan of Somerville, her Aunt Dori Cole, her life long friend since 5th grade Jackie Drainoni, her dear friend for many years Ann Roux from Westford as well as several nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by her first husband Gregg, her daughter Rita Marie and her granddaughter Kimberly.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 10th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Evelyn’s funeral service will directly follow calling hours in the funeral home.
