Nov 30, 2016 01:51PM ● Published by Bill Gilman

Dracut will celebrate the start of the Christmas season with festivities this weekend.
On Saturday, Dec. 3 the Dracut Rotary will host its annual Gingerbread House Exhibition and Competition at Harmony Hall from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event will include gingerbread cookie decorating for kids, free coffee, hot cocoa and pastries.
Vote for your favorite Gingerbread House and try your luck with multiple raffles. All proceeds will be going to the Dracut Food Pantry.
Don't forget to stop by the S'mores tent. Oh, and did we mention Santa Claus will be there?
But that's just the start of the fun.
At 6 p.m., the annual Tree Lighting will take place at the Gazebo at the school complex. There will be entertainment and refreshments.
Bundle up, bring the family and come enjoy the fun and festivities!
On Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m., the Dracut Community Chorus will hold its Winter Holiday Concert at Dracut High School. Raffles will be held and refreshments will be available after the concert.
