Obituary: Willard J. Hibbard, Jr., 92

He was born in Lowell a son of the late Willard J. and Julia (Leahy) Hibbard, and attended Dracut Schools.
For many years he was the owner of Hibbard Express and later was a mechanic and truck driver Wright Trucking. He also ran Will’s Repairs, his own Volkswagen repair shop. After his retirement, he and his wife enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. He spent many winters at the Clearbrook Resort in Florida.
Surviving him are his three children: Willard J. Hibbard, III, and his wife Diana, of Camden, ME; Nancy Bryant, of Dracut; and Brent T. Hibbard, and his wife Jeni, of Clay Center, KS; his grandchildren: Krista Bauer, and her husband Craig; Samantha Commeau; Jennifer Bryant and Erich Bryant; great grandchildren: Charlie Bauer, Samara Bryant, Jameson Bryant, and Ariana Clancy. He also leaves two sisters: Ella ‘Babe’ Haupt, of Thomasville, NC; and Sheila ‘Dede’ Finlayson, of Tewksbury; as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 4 to 7 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, November 16th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut.
