Priscilla A. (Trombly) Curtis Obituary
Priscilla was born in Lowell, MA on March 1st, 1939, a daughter of the late Yvonne S. (Vigneault) and Coriel D. Trombly. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro and later received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Emmanuel College in Boston.
Priscilla began her 41 year teaching career for the Billerica School System, spending the last 35 of those years at the Pawtucketville Memorial School until her retirement in 2001. She was a member of the Lowell Teachers' Association, the American Federation of Teachers, as well as the American Association of Kidney Patients.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, John and James Curtis of Lowell, Kevin Curtis of West Palm Beach, FL, and Maureen (Curtis, Chronowski) Odom of Lowell; two grandsons, Nicholas Chronowski and Tyler Odom of Lowell; sister-in-law, Janet Kramer of Rocky River, OH; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Joan (Nadworny) Curtis of Rindge, NH; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Priscilla was predeceased by her brother, Robert Trombly of Rocky River, OH, who passed away in May of 2008.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 4 to 8 p.m. on FRIDAY, November 4, 2016 at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave, Dracut. Priscilla's service will be held from the funeral home on SATURDAY, November 5, at 9 a.m. with her Funeral Mass to follow at 10 a.m. in St. Rita's Church, Lowell. Burial will take place afterwards at St. Patrick's cemetery in Lowell.
