Obituary: Caroline "Carrie" (Mrozowski) Craig, 98

DRACUT, MA - Caroline "Carrie" (Mrozowski) Craig, 98, died peacefully, Wednesday, October 26th, at Fairhaven Nursing home in Lowell, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest B. Craig Jr., until his passing in 2002.

Caroline was born in Lowell on March 1, 1918, a daughter of the late Marcelia (Czopek) and Wojciech "Albert" Mrozowski. She was educated in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell High School.

For many years, Carrie worked as a test technician for Raytheon in Lowell, until her retirement.

She was a lifetime member of the Polish American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary in Lowell, where she held many various positions. Carrie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her kind and loving nature, her family and friends will certainly miss her delicious pierogis and beautifully crocheted afghans.

Carrie is survived and will be deeply missed by her four children, Thomas E. Craig and his wife Hazel of Tavares, FL, Carol A. Gauthier and her husband Robert of Windham, NH, Stephen A. Craig, and Patricia A. Grailich and her husband Edward, all of Dracut; as well as seven grandchildren, William Craig and his wife Tina, Christine Hale and her husband Greg, Lisa Lepine and her husband Mark, Sharon Bourque and her husband Michael, Timothy Craig, Christopher Craig and his wife Marisa and Zachary Grailich, as well as, thirteen great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her siblings, Victor, John and William Marzec, Josephine Coates, Christine Glowacz, Michaline "Mickey" Czekanski and Stephen Mrozowski. 

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on TUESDAY, November 1st from 3 to 7 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on WEDNESDAY, November 2nd at 9 a.m., with her Funeral Mass directly following at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Church, Wheeler Rd., Dracut.
