 LOWELL -- Alfred A. Labonte Sr., a resident of Centerville in Lowell, passed away on Friday, October 21st 2016 at Saints Memorial Medical Center after a 
long fight against illness, with his wife, children, and grandchildren by his side. 

Born May 6, 1942 in Lowell, MA. Al served in the United States Army with an honorable discharge. 100% Disabled Army Veteran at the time of his passing. He was a former employee of Lowell Housing Authority for many years and later in life worked as a parts driver for Atamian Honda in Tewksbury before retiring. 

Al loved spending time with his family, camping at Salisbury State Park, fishing, and trips to Foxwoods Casino.

Al was the beloved husband of Lillian (Pawelka) Labonte for 52 years. He was the son of the late Raymond & Isabell (Cox) Labonte. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by 7 children. Alfred Allen Labonte Jr. & Susan Labonte of Pelham, NH, Kathleen & Brendon Speath of Wakefield, MA, Robert Labonte of Germany, Andrew & Jill Labonte of Dracut, MA, Patricia & Phillip Mondoux of Nashua, NH, Kenneth & Jennifer (Landry) Labonte of Dracut, MA & Diane & William Seaman of Lowell, MA. He is survived by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He is also survived by 17 beautiful grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who will greatly miss him. 

Alfred was a long member and friend of Bill's.

The service will be at: Phaneuf Funeral Home, 234 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH, on Friday 10/28/16. 10am-11am gathering and 11am-12pm service, officiated by a priest. There will be a short flag folding ceremony and taps at that time. There will a mercy meal for all family at a later date.
