June Frances (Bradford) (Scanlon) Joyce, 90, of Lowell, passed away Friday October 21, 2016 at Fairhaven Nursing Home in Lowell.
June was born in Boston, MA, August 28, 1926, the daughter of the late Charles F. and the late Caroline (Murphy) Bradford.
She worked for the former Capital Warehouse on Rogers Street in Lowell for many years as a Sales Clerk.
June’s true passion and dedication was for the Salvation Army where she volunteered for many years and was a member of the bowling league.
She is survived by a daughter Rosemary LaFlamme of New Port Richey, FL; a son Daniel B. Scanlon of Roslindale; two stepsons Timothy Joyce and his wife Sue of Dracut and Thomas Joyce and his wife Terry of Tyngsboro; five stepdaughters Janet (Joyce) Kent Sandra (Joyce) Bouchard, Maureen Joyce, Pamela (Joyce) Marquis and her husband Leo and Mary Joyce; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; also dear friends Mark Donaghue and Fr. Donald Gauthier.
