Joseph W. Jezak obituary
He was born in Lowell in 1924, the son of Peter and Mary Jezak and was the husband of Rita, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage until her passing.
Joe was blessed with a high degree of mechanical ability beginning as the head of the HQ Motor Pool during WWII where he serviced vehicles from jeeps to tanks and closed out his career with his success at Graphic Controls (Tyco) where he quadrupled the output of their heart monitor electrode assembly lines. At home he was a true handyman and could fix just about anything. Joe enjoyed the simple life, cutting firewood, gardening, keeping up a home and spending time with his family. He was the family "videographer” and could always be found with his camcorder at family gatherings.
Joe is survived by his daughter Barbara; son Stephen and his daughter in law Denise; grandchildren Joseph, Michael, John, Laura and William; great- grandchildren Ayden, Mikayla and Lily; his sisters in law, many nieces, nephews and family friends in whom his wisdom, advice and example will live on. He will be missed by all.
Joe was predeceased by his siblings, Walter, Sophie, Helen and Alice.
Many thanks to the staff at DCAT, Lowell General Hospital, Care One Concord and Geriatric Assistance for providing outstanding care and attention to Joe's well-being.
