Middies, Gryphons Roundup: Dracut Girls Soccer Hammers Chelmsford, GLT JV Notches Two Wins

Chelmsford 3, Dracut 1

Dracut jumpd to a lead, taking the first set against Chelmsford, 25-23. But the Lions rallied back, taking the next three sets, 25-22, 25-21 and 25-13 for the victory.

Erin McMeniman had 22 digs, 8 kills and 5 service points to lead Dracut. Meghan Cox also had 22 digs and 5 service points for the Middies.,Angela D'Auteuil chipped in with with 9 digs and 9 assists, while Lauren Byam contributed 14 service points and 14 digs.

Greater Lowell 3, Lynn Tech 1

 Richenie Iam played a strong defensive game to lead Greater Lowell to a league win over Lynn Tech.

Olivia Demers, Julia MacFagden and Araceli Lopez also had outstanding matches for the Gryphons.

Tewksbury 16, Dracut 4

Roscoe Martin had another strong match for Dracut, winning, 2-up. But it was one of the few highlights for the Middies in a loss to the Redmen at Trull Brook in Tewksbury.


Lynn Tech 1, Greater Lowell 0

The Gyphons got an exceptional effort from their defense and battled down to the wire, before falling to CAC rival Lynn Tech.


Greater Lowell 3, Lynn Tech 1

Karson Boule and Marcus Brum scored for the Gryphons in a 3-1 win over Lynn Tech. Izaiah Flores and David Malluhan played well defensively.

Greater Lowell 3, Whittier Tech 1

Frank Tchakote, Juan Pineda, Pedro De Souza, Andres Guerrero and Evan Blatis played well for the Gryphons in a victory over Whittier Tech.


Greater Lowell 6, Greater Lawrence 2

Dracut 4, Chelmsford 1

Kayla Gooch had the hat trick and an assist to lead Dracut to a convincing 4-1 win over Chelmsford.  

Lydia Asamoah had the fourth goal for the Middies. Julia Tellier and Rachel Santos added assists.

Makendra Looney, Mackenzie Balous and Emma Moynihan also had outstanding matches for Dracut.
