Antoinette E. "Toni" (Bargiel) Smith obituary
Born in Montreal, Canada on November 18, 1914, Antoinette was the daughter of the late Anthony and Nelida (Grondon) Bargiel, both of Canada. After moving to the United States, she worked in the mills of Lowell for many years.
Antoinette greatly enjoyed playing cards, especially Rummy, which she was very talented at.
She is survived and will be missed by her niece, Annette Lemire and her husband Robert of Dracut; as well as many great nieces and nephews, locally, Michelle O'Neil and her husband Sean of Hudson, NH, Jennifer Lemire of Dracut, Catherine Verdi and her husband Robert of Dracut, Danielle Newman and her husband Eric of Hudson, NH, and Jeffrey Lemire and his wife Angela of Dracut.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on SATURDAY, October 8, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave, Dracut. Antoinette's Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. in St. Rita's Church, Lowell, with burial afterwards at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Chelmsford.
