Obituary: Daniel J. Banacos, 24

MERRIMACK, NH -- Daniel J. Banacos, 24, died unexpectedly at his home, on Friday, September 30, 2016. Daniel was a resident of Dracut at the time of his passing.

Born in Lawrence, MA on January 20, 1992, he was a son of John Banacos and Suzanne (Allard) Banacos.

Daniel was a graduate of Alvirne High School in Hudson, NH with the class of 2010. Upon graduating, he went on to work as a landscaper, carpenter, and a cook. In his spare time, Daniel enjoyed skateboarding, and cars, particularly his own.

He is survived and will be deeply missed by his father; John Banacos and his wife, Elaine of Myrtle Beach, SC; his mother, Suzanne Banacos and her companion, Vincent Kennedy of Hudson, NH; his siblings, Holly (Banacos) Connolly and her husband, Chris of Merrimack, NH; Francisco Porto and his wife, Hillary of Hollis, NH; Stephen Porto and his wife, Crystal of Nashua, NH; and Maria (Porto) Marotte and her husband, Michael of Merrimack, NH; nieces and nephews, Ava, Aiden, Kolby, and Briella Porto, and Mallory Marotte; four aunts, Pat King and her husband, John, Nancy Snyder, Linda Mitroupolas and her husband, Theo, and Judy Richards and her husband Michael; and an uncle, Frank Banacos and his wife, Lisa; as well as many cousins and friends.

Daniel was predeceased by his uncle, Kevin Snyder.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on WEDNESDAY, October 5th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. His funeral service will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Private committal will take place at the convenience of the family.
