Judith A. (Solmonson) Stack obituary
Born in Lowell on March 16, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth (McNamara) Solmonson. Judith was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1958 and then went on to spend her career working as a Nursing Assistant at Tewksbury State Hospital for over twenty years, until her retirement.
In her spare time, Judith enjoyed spending time at the beach, going for walks, and doing needlepoint. Above all, her most cherished time was spent surrounded by her family, particularly her grandchildren.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her two children, Shaun Stack and his wife Natalie of Palm Harbor, FL, and Susan Breen and her husband Martin of Hudson, NH; six grandchildren, Ashlyn and Brittany Stack, and Kevin, Eric, Sean, and Ryan Breen; a brother, Arthur Solmonson and his wife June of Hampton, NH; and a sister, Sandra Richardson of Dracut and several wonderful nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on TUESDAY, October 4th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on WEDNESDAY, October 5th at 9 a.m. with her funeral service directly following at 10 a.m. in St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 8 Kirk St., Lowell. Burial will be held in Oakland Cemetery, Dracut. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judith's memory c/o the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
